Training
Experience and success sums up our training business at the Double C Ranch. I use a safe, easy on the horse, and very successful method that has the horse going at a walk, jog, lope, stopping, and reining in four weeks, guaranteed. If you are going to be trail riding, I will also make sure that the horse will cross creeks and other trail encounters. I have trained professionally for over 15 years, with an average of 35-40 horses trained per year.
I have also had a successful barrel racing career, which is our specialty, here at the ranch. Other finish work is also available. I train March through November and spaces fill up quickly, so give us a call to break your young one, or tune up your old one. Many references available.
